Clewborough House, set in 2 1/4 acres was founded in 1969 and has, until recently, housed all its pupils on the one site. With time, and the need to expand, the school has recently been fortunate in being able to acquire the former Cheswycks School site with 14 acres, just 3 miles away at Frimley Green. The Nursery, Reception and Lower School are now located at the new site whilst the Middle and Upper School remain at Clewborough House in Camberley. The two sites combined form a school of just over 270 children in total.
The School has a well-equipped nursery, for aged two plus which is open fifty weeks of the year from 8.00am until 6.00pm.
Clewborough has a very good staff-to-pupil ratio providing a well-structured academic education with a rock solid 3R's foundation. The National Curriculum is followed from age five with emphasis given to English and Mathematics. Children are given the maximum possible individual attention in the small classes.
Manners and character-building are placed very highly in a happy family atmosphere. A remarkably wide range of extra-curricular activities are available, which take place daily in term time. Parents are always pleased to know that their children can be cared for, in a stimulating environment, until 6.00pm. During the school holidays different activities are arranged which 'working parents' find very convenient.
Clewborough believes that the development of the individual child depends on creating a happy atmosphere where children do enjoy their work and play. Hence our school motto: - 'Work Hard - Play Hard'
